This beautiful building in the heart of Wedding sparkles with culture and atmospheric intimacy. Very contradictory, considering that this new venue is a former crematorium built in the early 20th century as the city's first crematorium.
It was closed in 2002, and since 2013 began extensive renovation. Now, new life sprouts here. Research, thinking and experimenting are the leading activities here. As a free venue, the Silent Green not only uses its halls for its own projects, but also opens them up to third-party projects. The goal is to build a sustainable and creative attraction with the help of cross-border encounters and participation. All kinds of artists from all industries already meet here. The concert hall regularly hosts chamber music concerts, readings and film screenings. In the wings there is an in-house canteen, rooms for seminars, and the opportunity to participate in yoga, Pilates or Shiatsu courses.
