At the Festival of the Airlift at Tempelhofer feld, more than 50,000 expected guests will be offered a varied programme for the whole family.
The message that humanity is united is what many institutions there want to connect with the present and the future. 70 years after the legendary air traffic of the Americans, British and French was stopped, the state of Berlin will celebrate this historic event with a big party on the apron of the Tempelhofer Feld and in the hangars of Tempelhof Airport. Original exhibits will be exhibited and, in addition, an audiovisual installation in one of the hangars will convey artistic design impressions of film and photo shootings, which will be supported by their own sound design.
