At the Pampa Beach Bar, located at the southern corner of the Holzmarkt not far from the East Side Gallery, you can quickly turn a warm afternoon into a summer getaway.
The free beach bar of the Holzmarkt is open to all. Here you can sit by the water with freshly drawn beer next to friends and family and watch the ships passing by. In a referendum in 2008, it was clear that the Spree shore will remain open, and thus laid the foundations for the Holzmarkt25 project. So far, among other things, the beach bar Pampa has been created. With its mixture of self-made wooden platforms, stalls, sofas and hammocks it looks as if one has scrambled everything possible together. But what came out has a charm of its own. Here you can hear children playing, older people laughing and young people singing. In the evening there is sometimes a campfire where the guitars often come into play.
