On the 2nd and 3rd Sunday of Advent, the Weddingmarkt will shine in its Christmas glory -
on 08.12.19 from 13-20 and on 15.12.19 from 13-21 - in the middle of the Wedding district on Leopoldplatz, in front of the historic Schinkel Church (Alte Nazarethkirche).
This year, very special gifts can be placed under the Christmas tree, because a visit to the Christmas Wedding Market promises extraordinary art, design and genuine craftsmanship. Many Wedding labels show outside on the Leopoldplatz the high-quality variety of the lively district, including porcelain by Manufactory, painted furniture by Mabellivue, the fnest liqueur by O'Donnell Moonshine and much more.
Visitors can expect around 70 booths with design, photography, ceramics, illustrations, paintings, home accessories, furniture, jewelry, fashion, spirits, teas and much more. A total of more than 130 exhibitors will be taking part in both events, so that each visit will be entertaining and interesting.
There will also be international street food ranging from Swiss raclette and cheese fondue, to Polish pierogi, Korean rice dishes and spicy Indian dishes, to vegan burgers, everything for the discerning palate will be there. “Glühwein” and campfre with "Stockbrot-Station" for the little visitors invite you to a Christmassy atmosphere. In addition there is a cultural side program, among other things with musical contributions. For example, the Church on
Sun., 15.12.2019 at 5 p.m. invites you to a Gospel Christmas concert.
As always, admission to the market is free.
