On the advent weekends, the Britz Castle estate is transformed into a fairytale historic Christmas market with Nordic flair and theatre.
Over 200,000 enthusiastic visitors have already experienced the "Nordic Fairy Tale Christmas" in the last 7 years, including a beautiful Snow Queen with her funny trolls Frau Holle and the Winter Spirit. The artists of the travelling theatre "Cocolorus Budenzauber" transform the stage on the historic Christmas market into a fairytale landscape and play it passionately and warmly with a Christmas programme for young and old. Theatre plays such as Frau Holle and Kasperle's Adventures are then performed. On the property there are over 50 Christmas stands and many activities to experience, such as pony riding, archery and crossbow shooting, axe and knife throwing, children's games, a wooden water wheel, large, impressive Viking boats for climbing and the "Dragon Hammer", a large, hand-guided music box to marvel at and try out. Cocolorus Diaboli also offers live Christmas music.
