The Spreebogenpark Berlin, located in the Tiergarten district, was opened in 2005. The fan-shaped, six-hectare complex is located in the immediate vicinity of the government buildings. It is spacious and offers a valuable recreational space in the center of German politics between the Chancellery and the Reichstag.
Characteristic of the Spreebogenpark are the wide lawns with scattered trees. In addition to the peculiarity of the sloping lawn levels and the landscape window the sand-colored paths on the waterfront promenade are a hallmark of the Spreebogenpark. Along the riverside paths are the themed gardens "Spurengarten" and "Gartenspur".
The Spreebogenpark is also connected to Washingtonplatz by the Gustav-Heinemann-Brücke. A "landscape window" provides a nice view of the Humboldthafen. The Spreebogenpark also offers a very nice connection between the main station and the government district.
A place for young and old, ideal for meetings, games, sports or recreation. You can always meet people from all over the world here, and the landmarks of Berlin are just a stone's throw away.
